As you probably already know, President Obama issued a series of executive orders last November expanding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA) and creating a new program of Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents (DAPA).
The new guidelines for DACA are only days away from going into effect, and DAPA changes are expected to come on-line in mid-May. To help the public understand and prepare for these changes, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has released a couple of fliers containing helpful information on each program. These simple, one-page fliers give a brief overview of who qualifies for DACA and DAPA under the expanded programs, and lets you know where to go to find more information.
