Texas Board Of Legal Specialization
There are over 100,000 attorneys licensed to practice in Texas. Only 7,250 have earned the right to be publicly recognized as Board Certified specialists in one of 24 select areas of law. The Texas Board of Legal Specialization was established in 1974 by the Supreme Court of Texas at the request of State Bar of Texas and is the only governing board authorized to certify attorneys in legal specialty areas. The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) is the national association of more than 15,000 attorneys and law professors who practice and teach immigration law. AILA member attorneys represent U.S. families seeking permanent residence for close family members, as well as U.S. businesses seeking talent from the global marketplace.
