Our three offices sit in San Antonio, Eagle Pass and San Angelo, and clients who want to meet face to face are welcome at any of them. Everyone else we serve remotely — and that is most of the state. We represent families and businesses in Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, El Paso, Corpus Christi, Laredo, McAllen, Brownsville, Lubbock, Amarillo, Midland, Odessa, Waco, Tyler, Abilene, Del Rio and the small towns in between.
Where your case is decided is a separate question from where you live. Family and employment petitions are filed at USCIS service centers and lockboxes that are often in another state entirely, and the National Benefits Center handles much of the pre-interview work on adjustment cases. When a Texas location does matter, it is usually a USCIS field office in San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, El Paso or Harlingen, or one of the immigration courts sitting in San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, El Paso, Pearsall or Conroe. Choosing an attorney by proximity to your house often has nothing to do with proximity to your case.

Can a San Antonio immigration lawyer handle my case if I live in Houston or Dallas?
Yes. Immigration is federal law, and an attorney in good standing with any state bar may represent you before USCIS and the immigration courts regardless of which Texas city you live in. Your case is filed with and decided by federal agencies, not by a local court.
Do I have to travel to one of your offices to hire you?
No. Consultations, document review, signatures and case updates are all handled by video, phone and email. You are welcome to visit our San Antonio office, or our Eagle Pass and San Angelo offices by appointment, but nothing about becoming a client requires it.
What happens when I have to attend an interview or a hearing?
Biometrics appointments, USCIS interviews and immigration court hearings are scheduled by the government, usually at the location nearest your home or nearest the court handling your case. We prepare you thoroughly beforehand and appear with you where our presence is required.
Are consultations available in Spanish?
Yes. The Lozano Law Firm is fully bilingual, and every consultation, document explanation and case update is available in Spanish.
How do I sign documents if I never come into the office?
Most immigration filings accept documents signed electronically, or signed at home and returned as a scan. We tell you exactly what each document requires before you sign anything.
Does hiring a lawyer farther away slow my case down?
No. Processing times are set by the federal agency handling your petition, not by your attorney location. What affects timing is whether your filing is complete and accurate the first time.
